Korean BBQ Beef Slices

Ingredients:

1 lb beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Cooked rice, for serving
Sliced green onions, for garnish
Directions:

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds (if using). Mix well to make the marinade.
Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring it’s well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through and caramelized.
Serve the beef bulgogi over cooked rice, garnished with sliced green onions.
